Site Safety Rules

Applicable to Employees, Contractors, Visitors, Delivery Personnel & Clients

Introduction & Statement of Commitment

About These Rules

Australian Moulding & Door Company (AMDC) is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and legally compliant workplace for all people who enter or work on our sites—including employees, contractors, delivery drivers, clients, suppliers, service providers, and authorised visitors.

These Site Safety Rules outline the minimum standards of behaviour, safety practices, and risk controls required to prevent injury, illness, property damage, environmental harm, and operational disruption.

Compliance with these rules is mandatory and forms part of AMDC’s safety management system, alongside specific Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), toolbox talks, risk assessments, contractor induction materials, signage, and documented policies.

These rules reflect our obligations under:

  • Victorian OHS legislation and regulations
  • Codes of Practice
  • Manufacturer instructions and safety standards
  • Industry safety principles
  • Internal risk assessments

No work activity is so urgent or important that safety can be compromised.

AMDC Safety Commitment

AMDC commits to:

  • eliminate or minimise hazards as far as reasonably practicable
  • maintain safe workplaces, machinery, and systems of work
  • provide appropriate training, induction, supervision, and PPE

  • ensure incidents are investigated and learnings implemented
  • meet or exceed our legal obligations under OHS law
  • ensure contractors follow equivalent safety standards
  • enforce safety rules consistently and fairly
